Hey guys..just a little note from the other side of the country: A HUGE Geils fan here, and also in bands that play Geils tunes (not as many as you guys, but...). Hey Marty - was gladto run into you at Nico's today... tiggered me to listen to J.Geils all afternoon in my classroom. Already have contacted some friends - plan on going to the Lariat on Dec 18th... Christmas break starts with a bang!

Guys, I just wanted to say, your gig the other night at Stadium Grill (my 1'st time seeing you) was awesome. Phil, you really know your way around that guitar my friend. Ron, your harp playing was way beyond anything I expected. Marty, you're singing and overall performance in general was just incredible. It blew me away how much you sounded like Peter Wolf, and had the fast-talking jive stuff down. I don't want to neglect James, Jim and Colin either .. you guys were all top notch. Awesome musicians and showmen. And you were all so high energy, it made me tired just watching. It seemed like you all gave it your all, like you were performing for a talent scout or something, and it was just a small bar crowd. That's excellent. You guys really got them up and dancing. You truly are a tribute to the great J.Geils Band, in every sense of the word. I hope this is the first of many times I get to see you perform.

You guys are FANTASTIC!!! As a child of the 70s I was fortunate to see J Geils in concert in Chicago. My guy Mark and I are now official groupies after recently seeing you at Oldfather Inn. GO MARTY !!!!!!!!!

The J. Geils Band is my all time favorite band. I saw them in the early 70's when they headlined at Cleveland Public Hall and then in 1975 I believe when they almost upstaged the Rolling Stones at the World Series of Rock. They did two encores. Oh, and at that first concert the piano player kissed me. I was 15 then. When will you be in Cleveland?
